UNFORGETTABLE HUESUnforgettable Hues is the second CD that Eva Wasserman-Margolis and Luigi Magistrelli made together, as full partners. Inspired by color, this time the colors suggested by guitar sounds, delicate but rich in timbre. With guitarist Massimo Laura of La Scala Theater in Milan, the two clarinetists play music by Diabelli, Kaps, Krähmer, Neumann, Broeders, Burgmüller, Henry and Auberg. Luigi also plays basset horn, and the program includes solos with guitar. Two of the works were written originally for csakan and guitar, a small Hungarian flute popular in the early 1800s, and are played here on the A clarinet. Recorded in Italy in April 2006. Download only.
