About the Book

The Children of the Tribes is a beautifully illustrated book that brings the voices of children from ancient civilizations directly to today's young readers. Through twelve short stories, children from tribes across history — each with their own customs, landscapes, and wisdom — speak across time to share how their ancestors lived thousands of years ago.

It is a book about belonging, about wonder, and about the timeless threads that connect us all. Perfect for families and educators who believe that understanding where we come from helps us know who we are.

The Story Behind the Book

The Children of the Tribes was born from Eva's own story — a life shaped by a father who survived the Holocaust and a mother born in India, two people whose journeys across continents and through history instilled in her a deep reverence for memory, resilience, and the richness of human roots.

In this book, the innocent voices of children from ancient tribes speak directly to today's young readers and their parents, carrying forward stories of how their ancestors lived thousands of years ago. It is a book about belonging, about wonder, and about the timeless threads that connect us all.

A treasure for families and educators who believe that understanding where we come from helps us know who we are.
